Chief Wilma Mankiller (Western Cherokee) and Earl Dingus(Cherokee). Chief Wilma Mankiller is the former Principal Chief of the Western band of Cherokee. I have had the honer of meeting her many times. This photo was taken of me with her when she was at West Virgina University and I commissioned to make her a honering gift for her visit. I made her a sterling silver pendant that was the seven sided cherokee star done in a 3-D style then mounted on plaque for presentation. The necklace was designed to be removed for wearing or left on the plaque for desplay.
